Barley Wine
Deshutes Mirror Mirror is an inspired version of the brewery’s
flagship brew, Mirror Pond Pale Ale.
Yielding a rich malt base with hints of raisin and oak tinged with the slightest
citrus hop aroma in this heady, barley wine.
After an extremely limited release in 2006, Deschutes kept a small stash of Mirror Mirror,
sending a few kegs to select festivals and pouring it at our pubs from time to time,
where customers discovered this unique beer, and a loyal following was born.
Now it is available in twenty-two ounce bombers and only at Libations.
Cellaring and Tasting Notes:
- Best if consumed after April 2010
- Best served at 50-55 degrees
- Extremely complex with high viscosity and multiple layers of flavor
